Economics Fighting Poverty

Be prepared – this TED video is 18 minutes but you need to watch it!  Esther Duflo is the founder and executive director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab at MIT.  If the name of that organization doesn’t catch your attention, the location (MIT) should.  Esther is bringing experimentation to the eradication of poverty and folks are taking notice (MacArthur Foundation “Genius” grant winner, Clark Medal winner, and there is lots more).  Spend the time => watch this video!
