You cannot help but like a company that regularly demonstrates amazing leadership. Witness the most recent announcement by Google that they will fund between 50,000 and 500,000 fiber connections where they or other ISP providers can begin the process of leading us to the next level in gigabit broadband connectivity. They may not be the first to provide fiber connections, but they certainly know how to get our collective attention and make us realize that lots of companies need to follow their example.
Google – if you are listening (and I know you are), Columbia, SC is very interested and would be honored to be the home site for your next generation network. Fiber … its not just for breakfast!
